Creative workshops with young people in Southampton

Creative methodologies are important tools for moving beyond consultation towards co-production with young people. They allow young people to articulate experiences in free and open-ended ways. Consortium partners Artful Scribe, ZoieLogic, Theatre for Life, In Focus and Testlands are working with young people in Southampton as practice-based co-researchers to understand what culture is to them, what place-based community assets are important to young people, as well as where they don’t go and why. The Pathways To Health Team is currently working through this rich data. Our findings will have important implications for youth provision and commissioning.
